Curriculum Vitae

My extension and research programs deal with the detection, diagnosis, and control of diseases of agronomic and vegetable crops. They are closely linked to provide growers and agribusinesses with up-to-date systems for plant disease identification and control. My graduate students have studied chemical control, cultural control, resistant varieties, and disease etiology. My current research deals with the epidemiology and control of peanut leafspot, soil-borne diseases of peanuts and other crops, soil-borne wheat mosaic virus, and fungicide application techniques.
