I direct UF’s multidisciplinary Plant Medicine Program whose mission is to train plant health practitioners, Plant Doctors, in all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis, and management of plant health problems: http://www.dpm.ifas.ufl.edu/

I teach or coordinate the following courses and internships:

Research:

My research has included the identification and characterization of economically important diseases of horticultural and agronomic crops and the development of integrated systems for environmentally compatible and cost effective disease management. Components of this integrated approach have included biological control, host resistance, soil solarization, and chemical control.
