Off-Campus Faculty and Facilities - North Florida

Hastings Agricultural Research and Education Center - Hastings, Florida

Researchers at the AREC aim to improve the production of vegetables (particularly potatoes) on the sand lands of northeast Florida by generating new knowledge through adaptive and applied research. Emphasis is on etiology, epidemiology. economic impact, and management strategies for diseases and nematodes affecting vegetables. Other research areas include irrigation and drainage on flatwood soils, fertility studies, and basic studies on disease technology and control in a demonstration citrus grove.

North Florida Research and Education Center - Quincy, Florida
