Bidens Mottle Inclusions

The virus induces cytoplasmic pinwheel inclusions with laminated aggregates or plates. The laminated aggregates are cearly visible in the light microsope of epidermal strips of Zinnia (top right and middle pictures). This makes Zinnia a good diagnotic host. In other hosts, these plates are not as clear in the light microcope.
