The Bunyaviridea family of
viruses includes several genera of viruses that infect
humans and animals(ie.the rabies virus) as well as
plants. The genus that infects plants is the Tospoviruses.
Two Tospoviruses, tomato spotted wilt and
impatiens necrotic spot, have been found in Floirda.
