About
I am Matthew Burger, a graduate research assistant at UF Plant Pathology. I started my PhD here in 2018 and I am located at the Quincy NFREC. I have previous educational backgrounds in geography, geology, agronomy, and botany and I have previous employment experience in precision agronomy and doubled haploid corn breeding. My goals are to combine remote sensing, GIS, plant pathology, and extension outreach into a platform for improvement of management practices.
