    About

am a Ph.D. student in Dr. Natalia Peres' Plant Pathology Program at the University of Florida. My passion for plant pathology, disease management, and sustainable agriculture has led me to work across laboratory and field settings, collaborating with researchers worldwide. I am committed to advancing agricultural research and developing solutions to protect crop health and improve food security.

    • Education

My academic journey began at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (Brazil), where I earned my degree in Agricultural Sciences/Engineering and participated in research on crop production systems. I later pursued a master’s degree at University of Florida, focusing on the genetic basis of disease resistance in lettuce.

    • Research

I research Neopestalotiopsis spp., the pathogen responsible for Pestalotia leaf spot and fruit rot in strawberries.
