I am a Plant Pathology Graduate Student pursuing a PhD under Dr. Gary Vallad, co-advised by Dr. Samuel Martins. I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2022 with a dual B.Sc. degrees in Crop and Soil Sciences and Political Science. I also attained a Certification in Agriculture Regulatory Science in 2021 from N.C State. I previously worked as an intern in a Soybean Discovery Breeding for BASF and then began an Undergraduate Research Technician position comparing Ralstonia solanacearum infested soil microbiomes in North Carolina tomato fields. My current interests involve understanding microbe-microbe interactions within the phytobiome during disease control applications.
