About

My name is Manoj Choudhary, I am from India and Ph.D. Student at the University of Florida. Before joining Ph.D., I was working with Indian Council of Agriculture Research (Equivalent to USDA) as Plant Pathology scientist on vegetable and fruit crops diseases. I am interested various ways for improving disease management options for farmers in sustainable manner.

  • Research

I am currently working on Bacterial leaf spot of Tomato management and host-microbe interactions. My research mainly involves

First, Antibacterial magnesium nanomaterials for bacterial leaf spot of tomato management and understanding the potential of integration of biocontrol agents with nanomaterials to enhance effectiveness in disease management. Second, I am studying host limiting factors present in Xanthomonas perforans strains associated with their pathogenicity on tomato and pepper Third, Machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) tools for on-field disease diagnosis
