Cucurbits are highly sensitive to cold injury. Symptoms can vary depending upon the low temperature range and extend of a low temperature.

In a single night of temperatures dropping to 35 F on cucumbers in North Florida, leaves exhibited white bleached sections through a vast section and through most of the leaves.

Depending on the severity of impact, the underside of the leaves may also show white blotches, and can be found mostly uniformly.
