Damage from glyphosate can occur from a previously treated crop residue/soil or drift from nearby field applied with the herbicide. Mild yellowing can be noticed as the first symptom on smaller leaves.

Advanced stage symptom of glyphosate damage is the bleaching of the base of the leaves towards the stem region. In severe cases, many leaves or entire plant may exhibit bleached yellow symptom.
