The flesh in case of watermelon may show internal discoloration which shows as yellows or white and these fruits are unmarketable. Fruits may also be misshapen in appearance.
The fruits may also rot internally as seen in this case at the margin of the rind and the flesh. Watermelon produced in spring and fall seasons in Florida can be highly affected by the disease.
