Tomato leaf miner damage can be seen as silvery white patterns on the leaves. These are sites of insect larvae feeding within the tomato plant cells.

The symptom is primarily noticed in greenhouse and is a minor issue, and rarely seen in open field production. Severe damage can affect photosynthesis.
